July has been the deadliest month of the year on the nation's roads while Sunday has produced the most fatalities.
Data provided by the National Road Safety Unit indicates that 45 persons died in road crashes in July.
Of the 296 persons who have died in 244 fatal crashes from the start of the year to October 10, some 60 died in crashes that took place on a Sunday.
Friday and Saturday have accounted for 46 road deaths each.
Data from the National Road Safety Unit indicates that 295 persons died in 275 fatal collisions over the similar period in 2015.
