Oaklands apartment killer gets life imprisonment
Convicted businessman Steven Causwell has been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his former girlfriend, Nadia Mitchell, at her Oaklands apartment in 2008.
The 40-year-old father of two children will have to serve 20 years in prison before he is eligible for parole.
The sentence was handed down in the Home Circuit Court a short while ago by Justice Carol Lawrence-Beswick.
Causwell also showed no emotion as he was handcuffed and led from the courtroom.
