Male nail technician busted with ganja at airport
A male nail technician, who police said passed out two pounds of ganja, was as arrested for breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act at the Norman Manley International Airport on Wednesday, December 14.
The man is of Andre Thomas, 33, otherwise called ‘British’ of Portsmouth, Portmore, St. Catherine.
Reports from the Narcotics Division are that about 12:30 p.m., Thomas went to the airport and attempted to check in on a flight destined for Barbados. He was stopped by detectives, interviewed, and his luggage searched.
The police said Thomas subsequently expelled four cylindrical parcels containing ganja weighing about two pounds and was later arrested for possession, dealing in, and taking steps to export ganja.
