No STING this year
Boxing Day, the day when annual dancehall stage show STING is usually held, is just over a week away, and dancehall supporters have been wondering why they haven’t heard anything much about this year’s staging of the event.
Well, fans of the show won’t have to wait any longer.
STING organisers have announced that the event will not be held this year.

Keona Williams, the show’s publicist, told THE STAR Online that instead of a the customary stage show this year, STING organizers have decided to host a private, invitation only event.
Williams did not go into much detail but explained that it was a unanimous decision taken by stakeholders to not proceed with the event in its usual format. She went on to say that the show this year will be focused on honouring the legacy of the event.
She said that invitations to the event will be sent out soon, and explained that only then will the venue for the event be revealed.
