Jah Cure's sister awaits trial for cocaine smuggling

Mckadia Alcock, the sister of reggae singer Jah Cure, is awaiting trial following her December 21 arrest at the Hollywood International Airport in Fort Lauderdale.

According to information gathered from the official website of the Broward County Sheriff’s office, Alcock was charged with importation of cocaine, possession of cocaine, conspiracy to import cocaine, and conspiracy to possess cocaine and is being held without bond at the Paul Rein Detention Facility in Broward County.

If convicted on the above charges, Alcock faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
