Police probe shopkeeper's murder in Clarendon

Police in Clarendon are still trying to establish a motive for the killing of a woman at her business place yesterday afternoon.

Fifty-five-year-old shopkeeper Novelette Glashen, a resident of Bullards Content in York Town, was shot and killed by unknown assailants  at her home.

The police say about 5:45 p.m. Saturday evening, Glashen, who operates a cook shop at her home, was standing on the premises when she was pounced upon by her attackers who opened gunfire at her.

She was hit and was assisted to hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
