Entertainer Jahmiel said that "greatness comes with a great fight" as he appeared to give support to Vendetta boss Alkaline, who is performing in Jamaica for the first time in three years.

"Me get fight but me overcome it," Jahmiel said as he engaged the audience in a sing along of his song 'Things take time'.

Alkaine was last month locked up for four days, without charge, by the police who were investigating a murder in Maverley, St Andrew. While Jahmiel did not mention the issue, he is known to be a supporter of Alkaline who is the headline act for tonight's show, Magnum New Rules.

The young entertainer was recently involved in a social media feud with fellow artiste Vershon. He used the stage to addressed matter as he sang Instant Disaster, which was seemingly aimed at Vershon. The audience went wild as they enjoyed the brief moment of controversy.

Earlier, things got off to a bumpy start at the highly anticipated concert, which was being held at the National Stadium car park in Kingston.

Despite a good crowd turning up, organisers initially failed to move the audience who had to put up with issues such as technical glitches.

But by the time Jahmiel entered the stage singing his hit song True Colours, the mood had changed.
