The flash flood that affected the island last week was a source of great inconvenience for many road users. In St Thomas, at least two major roads were blocked due to flooding or landslides. And across the Corporate Area, traffic was reduced to a crawl as motorists and pedestrians struggled to navigate the flooded roadways.
