Meeting with teachers rescheduled

March 13, 2018
JTA President Georgia Waugh Richards.

The emergency conciliation meeting arranged by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security to restore normalcy in public sector schools has been rescheduled.

The meeting was scheduled for today at 2 p.m. But the Jamaica Teachers’ Association expressed its inability to attend as all its representatives from the various regions, would not have been able to make it in time.

The meeting has therefore been rescheduled for tomorrow, commencing at 10 a.m., at the Ministry’s 1F North Street Head Office in Kingston.
