Instagram threatens to ban lewd photos posted by rapper The Game

Social media site Instagram is investigating rapper The Game, threatening to remove a series of lewd photos the rapper posted which went viral recently.

The photos were posted back in October and shows the rapper in underwear that shows the outline of his genitals.

The photos went viral and even caused The Game to become a trend on Twitter.

But Instagram is seeking to take down the pictures, US celebrity website TMZ reports.

The Game has given fans the impression that the news doesn't affect him in an Instagram video he posted recently.

"Word on the street is, Instagram is threatening to ban my account if I don't take the meat print picture down and they want to know how I feel about it," the Compton, California rapper says in the post. At the end of the video, he points to himself with a blank face.

He also said Instagram has double standards, stating that they had no problem when Kim Kardashian posted nude photos which also went viral. 

The Game also said that he would be using Snapchat,one of the latest social media sites as he waits to see whether Instagram will remove his photos.
