Bounty, Sizzla blaze fire at Yush
Bounty Killer and Sizzla Kalonji teamed up to blaze a lyrical fire on to the audience at the Wray and Nephew-sponsoreed Yush that was held at the National Indoor Sports Centre, St Andrew, last Thursday night.
Bounty Killer was first on stage and he received 'forwards' for hits such as Look Into My Eyes, Cellular Phone, Can't Believe Me Eyes, Suspense and Poor People Fed Up.
Deep into Bounty's set, Sizzla made his appearance and the screams got louder. Nah Apologise had the crowd clamouring for more. He levelled the vibes with Dry Cry, and had the ladies screaming to Give Me A Try, and Woman I Need You.
Both Bounty Killer and Sizzla were quite critical of what they deemed as unclean living.
But Bounty used the occasion to comment on the recent move by former Queen of the Dancehall, Lady Saw's decision to become a Christian. The outspoken deejays bashed the detractors, insisting it was a good move by Saw.
In between performances, there was mainly retro music from top-flight disc jocks and the patrons loved it.
