Vershon releases Neva Happy Fi Mi

Dancehall singjay Vershon has been quite busy over the past few months, thanks to a slew of hits during 2015 that have seen his name become quite familiar in Jamaica.

Hits such as Inna Real Life, Use to Hungry, Tun It up Now and Clean Mi Heart Too Clean have cemented the artiste firmly as a favourite among lovers of dancehall and reggae music.

Now, the artiste has voiced on the Chronicles of Success rhythm for Ocho Rios, St Ann-based producer Tevin 'Tevino' Richards of YGF Records. The track, Neva Happy fi Mi, which tells of a so-called friend who seems envious of his success, is said to be igniting local and international air waves.

"Vershon is very humble, composed, versatile and will be an icon in the music industry for years to come," said Richards. "He started off 2016 quite well and has a lot more in store to offer this year."

Other tracks on the Chronicles of Success rhythm include Jahvillani, Get Rich or Die Trying; Capleton and Ffurious, My Time; Zagga, It's Ok; Zamunda, Two Grand; Chezidek, Real Thing; Xyclone, I Try; Stephen Dajure, Rastafari Name; Deep Jahi, Motivation; Negus, I Wanna Know; Teflon, My Story; Trance, Tried; Mental Chung, Jaws; and Lady Ali, Money Affi Mek.

According to Richards, Chronicles of Success is a throwback to the late '90s, being a soulful rhythm.
