Fast-rising artiste Ovarall is determined to make his mark on the local music scene.

"I've spent many years learning my craft and sharpening my skills. Now I'm ready to take my career to the next level," said the artiste.

The talented deejay, who finished second in the JCDC Big Stage competition in 2014, recently released a mixtape, Country Wi Seh.

"My mix tape features a variety of genres including dancehall, Reggae and hip hop. I did this project to show my versatility, because I'm a deejay who has the ability to spit mad rhymes on different types of beats," he said.

The mixtape, that was produced by Magic 1 Music, was released on February 6.

"Since the mixtape has been out, I have been getting a lot of positive feedback about it. It's getting a lot of hits on YouTube," said Ovarall.

Ovarall has been in studios working on a number of new projects including an EP slated to be released later this year.

"My team has a good strategy in place to promote my career, and I'm going to drop a lot of singles this year. 2016 is my year," he said.
