Quiet Jamaica recently launched its 2016 calendar of events for the Carnival season at Usain Bolt's Tracks and Records. The company known for loud events in quiet settings has also partnered with venues to host events.

Sponsorship manager at Quiet Jamaica, Cortia Bingham, told THE WEEKEND STAR the season will bring quality entertainment to patrons.

"The unique thing about the calendar of events is that it's the first time in Jamaica we are going to have a quiet carnival series, which includes a silent jouvert and a carnival cardio series with Yendi Phillipps.

The cool thing is that you will be wearing headphones and nobody will be hearing what you are hearing unless you want them to. We will have the elements of paint and powder, like any normal jouvert," she said.

Bingham said this will be the first time Jamaica will experience a quiet carnival. She also encouraged potential patrons to follow quietheadphonesja on Instagram and Facebook for further information on the events.

Yendi, who holds a bachelor of fine arts in dance, told THE WEEKEND STAR that she is fully qualified and capable to change the lives of clients through cardio classes.

"It's YMDC Carnival Cardio, and my students can expect to have a blast. We will bubble, one drop and wine as we sweat, tone, sculpt and burn calories. Persons who have done it before have said they left the classes on a major high and that they wanted more.

"You are giving back to yourself and the endorphin high that you get when you work out, without having to run 500 miles, is priceless. You burn the same among having fun," she told THE WEEKEND STAR.

DJs who played at the launch were DJ Bingie, Cyclone and DJ Sanjay.

Events will be held at AZ Preston, tomorrow, and March 3, 10, 17 and 24, partnering with Phillipps for Quiet Cardio.

March 6,13,20 and 27 will see Quiet Jamaica taking patrons to Usain Bolt's Tracks & Records for Quiet Mass on the Mezz.

On March 19, 21 and July 2 the company will host Teen Rave series on the roof of Giscombe.

March 23, it will host Silent Jouvert at a venue to be disclosed. On April 9, they will return to Margaritaville, Negril.

May will see stops at Pier One Movie Night in Montego Bay.

July 1-31 play host to the Road To Rio Olympics Series at Usain Bolt's Tracks and Records. In June it will be Miami for House Rave Jamaica.
