Laden on a high following Japan tour
Dancehall artiste Laden is still on a high after a successful tour of Japan.
The tour saw the entertainer staying in the country for more than a month performing in some of the biggest cities.
"The Japan tour was a tremendous trip for me, enuh. I always wanted to go to Japan as an artiste because back in the day you used to see man like Tiger dem a travel and a dweet, and you see how people react to the music on that side and I found it amazing," he said. "I've been to the three biggest cities over here, and trust me I've never felt so much love." He went on to say that he was overwhelmed at the support as he had no idea people in Japan knew his songs like Time to Shine and Working Hard. He told THE STAR the tour marks the beginning of a resurgence in his career.
"Since I released the songs Time Is Now and Star Level, the fans have their eyes on me again, so it's just the focus, and I know once the focus is on me again I will get good results." Since returning, the entertainer has been making good on his promise to reclaim a spot on the dancehall scene.
"Right now I'm working on my album and I also released the video for Time Is Now and that song is doing extremely well," he said. "I just released a single for ZJ Nova, I'm That Man, and I'm also doing a number of local events across the island."
