There may be a Jamaican representation on the American crime drama television series, 'Power' when it returns to the TV screens for Season Four.

Dancehall artiste Gully Bop has hinted at a possible appearance in rapper 50 Cent's breakout series, as he seeks to reclaim a spot at the top of the entertainment industry.

When THE WEEKEND STAR asked whether or not speculation surrounding his appearance on the next season of Power had any truth to it, the entertainer said "everything inna di works".

Power is a crime drama television series aired on Starz, starring Omari Hardwick as James St Patrick, aka Ghost.

Ghost leads a double life as a club owner and a huge drug lord. The show which premiered in June 2014, is produced by 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson.

Bop confirmed that photos of him and 50 Cent, who is also head of the G-Unit group, were authentic. The photos have been circulating on social media since Wednesday night.

Bop explained that he was invited to 50 Cent's offices in Manhattan, New York, where he met the actor/rapper and had a 'business meeting with him'.

"It wasn't a run-in, I was invited to his office," he said. "Mi did go fi a meeting with 50 and we talk fi bout 20 or 30 minutes. Di man rate Gully Bop and him team, all di people dem round him rate Gully Bop."

He then blasted persons who questioned the photos' authenticity moments after they were released, saying that at this stage in his career, he has no reason to tamper with photos.

"Dem real man. Why would a big artiste like Gully Bop photoshop a picture? Dem 100 per cent real," he said.

The photos of Gully Bop and 50 Cent have been creating quite a buzz on social media, with several fans of the artiste congratulating the singer on his latest career move.

Bop is currently in New York and is hinting on big things to come as he makes his return to the entertainment scene.

Things have been relatively quiet (musically) for the artiste who rose to fame after becoming a viral Internet sensation.

But Bop revealed that all of that is about to change as he will be making some big steps in his career in the coming months.

"Gully Bop ago take it to another level, so just look out," he said.
