Galiday Bounce to support early childhood education

Galdiez Promotions is gearing up to host the annual Galiday Bounce at Ewarton Sports Club on December 30. The event will feature a stellar line-up of dancehall and reggae acts, and according to the promoter, Galdiez, he intends to contribute part of the earnings to early childhood education.

"This year's show is going to be amazing. We have a star studded line-up, and patrons can come out in their numbers as parking facilities will be very much secure.," Galdiez told THE STAR.

"As always, we will be seeking to protect our brand, our sponsors, our patrons and the media with the help of the Ewarton police, alongside out private security. Part proceed from this year's staging will go to the Johnson's Basic School in Linstead, as the Galdiez Promotion team is always seeking to give back something to the community of Linstead." 

This year marks the eighth staging of the show, and is set to feature Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Mavado, Busy Signal, Sizzla, Ninja Man, Aidonia, Ishawna, Jahmiel, Masicka, Chino, Stephen Di Genius, KipRich, Raine Seville, Chase Cross, Iyara, Iba MaHr, Flexx, Macka Diamond, D'Angel, Star Face and Chuck Fenda.

In addition to the line-up, the organisers have also improved production to include backing band, Ruff Kutt. Sound Systems and selectors booked for the event include Stone Love, Foota Hype, Troopa Traloopa, Ali Patch and Ricky Trooper.

Galiday Bounce will be hosted by Nikki Z, ZJ Amber, Beekie Bailey and London Voice. General admission will attract a cost of $1,500 general and $3,000 for VIP. Couples will be able to access a discounted rate of $2,400.
