Spice to spread 'Indicator' across Europe
Dancehall deejay Spice is gearing up for yet another tour.
The entertainer told THE WEEKEND STAR that she is always travelling and looking for the next country to make her mark and seal her place as one of the hottest female deejays to come out of the dancehall space.
So, come April, the self-proclaimed Queen of the Stage will embark on a tour of Europe.
Dubbed the 'Indicator Tour', Spice is set to perform in several countries, including Germany, Austria, Sweden, Italy, Poland, France and Spain. The tour is set to begin on April 6 and run until the middle of May.
When asked whether the tour had anything to do with the huge endorsement she received from international superstar Nicki Minaj, Spice said the decision was based solely on the demand for her music across Europe.
Spice explained that her fan base continues to grow in these European countries, and although she will forever be grateful for the attention she has received through Minaj's endorsement of the song, Indicator, the tour is all about giving her fans the material they have been demanding.
"The tour was one I did before, and my fan base just keeps growing in Europe. So, the demand for another tour was decided after request from fans," said Spice, who toured Europe in February last year.
Unlike other tours where she was accompanied by her full team of dancers, Spice will only be travelling with one dancer this time around.
"The stages in European clubs are small, so it don't allow me to carry more dancers. It will just be Danger. She is the creator of the Indicator dance move, and that's the name of my tour," she said.
