Shebada, Keiva clash online
Dancer Keiva Di Diva has come out to shed some light on the online feud that has been unfolding between herself and actor Keith 'Shebada' Ramsay.
The pair have been at loggerheads over the past few days, exchanging insults in a nasty Internet quarrel.
The back-and-forth war of words began sometime last week after a Facebook live feed hosted by Shebada began making the rounds on social media. The actor had been addressing a number of issues on his live feed known as Happy Corner, when he began to assess the dancer's outfit choice in a music video.
The criticism apparently did not sit well with the dancer, who took to her own social media pages to address Shebada, questioning his sexuality, among other things.
She has since been receiving heat on social media, as many users believe she went overboard with her posts.
However, in an interview with THE WEEKEND STAR, Keiva defended her actions, stating that those who have come to the conclusion that she was going overboard, have not seen the Shebada interview in its entirety.
"Why would I be offended by someone giving their opinion? That make sense?," she questioned. "Those who are talking and seh mi a blow things outta proportion don't see the entire interview. Him did a seh a bag a things bout me, and, of course, me take offence because Keiva is a girl weh nuh trouble people."
Keiva added that if people were to pick sense out of nonsense, they would see who the real troublemaker is, as she has never had any interaction with Shebada and fails to see how her attire in a video from 2013 could possibly be of any relevance in 2017.
"I don't know him. People unuh think. Why would he be talking about my outfit in a video four years after the video come out if a never something weh plan and if him never a look fi create mischief? It clear seh him is a troublemaker, and dat him siddung and plan wid somebody weh nuh like me. Is a set-up thing," she said.
Shebada has insisted, however, that he has no issue with Keiva and was only commenting on her attire.
In a Facebook Live feed last week, the actor said his criticism of the dancer was not meant to be taken so seriously.
"Me haffi explain to her cause me nuh like people upset wid me over lie or over foolishness, so me willing fi explain and apologise," he said.
"Me never a chat bout yuh because me seh big up Keiva. All me did a talk bout a di outfit. It just never sit well. Yah go style me and class me and talk seh me a b***yman and me a dis and dat ... If yah go mud me up, do me the honour of getting it correct."
Meanwhile, Keiva says she has a lot more to reveal regarding the situation between the two and vows to drop a two-hour unedited interview next week.
