Wet and wild A.M. BUSH - a party to remember
"We party in sun or rain, we don't care what people say. Once the music hits my vain, so much powers I can't explain. Until that golden day when the father takes me away, all my friends gonna say I'm phenomenal."
Those are words from the hit soca song, Phenomenal, by Trinidadian soca artiste Benjai, and it best captures the experience that was Caesar's Army A.M.BUSH.
Held last Saturday in Portmore, St Catherine, this fÍte of paint, water, powder and bad behaviour had patrons marching in the dark until sunrise to the pulsating beat of soca music.
Themed 'Pirates of the Caribbean', it was a different kind of motion in the ocean as bodies ebbed and flowed with partygoers showing off their wining skills.
The rain, which was heavy at times, added fire to the event as patrons enjoyed themselves more with every drop from above.
The energy went higher as patrons crossed the Heineken stage and were doused with more powder and were treated to performances from soca artistes Bunji Garlin and Shal Marshall.
Here are some highlights.
