Rave reviews for Corey's 'Vision'
Reggae artiste Corey has released his new EP, 'Vision', to rave reviews from reggae music critics and the public alike. The talented singjay is attempting to use his EP to bring dancehall-reggae back to the streets with authenticity and message.
The EP, which was pre-released on August 4, is spearheaded by the heat-seeking single, Breakthrough, featuring I-Octane.
"The response so far has been phenomenal. The public says that these songs were well produced and well-thought-out. The radio disc jocks say that the early front-runners so far are Vision and Breakthrough featuring I-Octane, so it's a great look," he said, noting that the EP has been marketed primarily through word of mouth, viral videos, and social media efforts.
Other standout songs include Dweet, and the entertaining Argue, which deals with a man facing a challenging domestic situation with a cheating woman.
"It is gratifying to get so much positive feedback from people I respect in the industry. I put a lot of work into this project. I poured my heart into it," he said.
The EP will be officially released on all major downloadable platforms today.
