Bugle to unleash catalogue tonight
Fresh off a successful promotional tour in Europe, reggae artiste Bugle is shifting his focus to the local music scene, and is getting ready to unleash his extensive catalogue guests at that popular entertainment spot, 100 Hope Road, tonight.
The St Andrew venue is expected to come alive as the entertainer, who is still promoting his sophomore album, Be Yourself, is expected to turn in a riveting live performance.
Dubbed Bugle-100 Live, the concert will give fans the chance to experience the entertainer's large catalogue of songs in a way they have never experienced.
According to Bugle, he decided to do the concert with the latter in mind, pointing out that time constraints at shows do not allow him to give the people all that they expect of him.
"I have been in the business almost a decade, and every year I have several hit songs. I have amassed a respectable catalogue over that timeline. The reason I decided to do this live concert is that most times I don't ever get to perform all the songs fans want to hear, due to time constraints on various shows," he explained.
"I decided to have one show where I can get up close and personal with the fans and take them on a musical journey with the full gamut of my catalogue."
The concert, which starts at 8 p.m., will also feature Alexx A Game and Spanish Town natives Rockaz Element, both being nurtured under the tutelage of Bugle. The legendary Ruff Kutt Band will be providing additional musical support on the night.
General admission to the event is $1,000, while students from the University of the West Indies and the University of Technology will pay $600.
The Ganja hitmaker is currently promoting his latest effort, Cherish Life, a musical narrative, which chronicles a true life story. The song is an emotional one, inspired by the singer losing his brother and close friend. The music video for the single is available on the singer's YouTube VEVO account.
