Knolij Tafari brings fresh reggae music
Knolij Tafari is ready to make his mark on the reggae music scene.
The Kingston-born singjay draws his inspiration from Ethiopia, so it comes as no surprise that his music is heavily influenced by his Rastafarian religion.
Knolij Tafari made his recording debut in March with the release of a single, titled Raggamuffin In Love, on the Muzic House Productions imprint.
"I want the world to hear my music and feel the energy of Knolij Tafari. I'm coming with something fresh and different. It's roots and culture. It's reggae, but in a different style," said Knolij Tafari.
Since the release of Raggamuffin Love, Knolij Tafari has recorded and released three other singles Natty Most Wanted, Power of the Light and Out Deh.
"The journey has just begun, and I have a lot of music to share with the people. I want them to hear and feel the message. It's a non-stop mission. Drew Stewart is the producer, and I am the messenger. We are making the music and sending it out to the world, and the people love it," he said.
The humble entertainer, who is the grandson of veteran music video director Leo 'Big Daddy' O'Reggio, is also a trained and skilful videographer.
"I like to be involved in all areas my music, and I'm also involved in the creative and technical aspects of all my videos and photo shoots," said the artiste.
