Shawn Antoine banks on 'Mine' for breakthrough
Recording artiste Shawn Antoine has formed a strong promotional team, and is making a passionate appeal to the gatekeepers in the music industry to give his new single, 'Mine', an objective chance to shine.
According to the artiste, Mine has hit potential and could be his breakout song with the right support.
"I have high hopes for Mine. Everywhere I have been and introduced the record, the response has been very encouraging. Hence, my management will be placing a lot of effort into promoting and bringing increased awareness to the track. Presently, we are in the process of shooting a video for release very soon," Shawn Antoine said.
Produced by Frankie Music, the single is a collaborative effort with emerging songstress Lia Caribe, and sees both artistes delivering their vocals over an authentic reggae beat. Mine is currently available on iTunes and other digital platforms, and will also be featured on his upcoming EP slated for release in October.
The self-titled EP will comprise six tracks, showcasing the full ambit of Shawn Antoine's musical talents.
No stranger to the arts, Shawn, who recently returned from a European stint with Christopher Martin and D'Major, is not only strong vocalist, but also a musical polymath equipped with the skills to play the piano, acoustic and bass guitars, tenor saxophone, violin, drums and the flute.
With singles like Full Time Gyallis featuring Konshens, Treat You Better featuring Qraig (from the duo Voicemail) and I Love You enjoying favourable rotation across various spaces, Shawn Antoine says he has high hopes for Mine.
He said plans are afoot for two additional videos later this month as part of the ongoing campaign to bolster his presence across the Diaspora.
