Spragga Benz gives Slim Survivor big boost
Recording artiste Survivor Slim has teamed up with dancehall veteran Spragga Benz for the track 'All Night'. The song was produced by RSQTHP Music Group, Red Square Production and Schife.
The US-based Survivor Slim explained that the song is geared towards women, and the reception has been good.
"The song is about catering to a female, taking her out and letting her have a good time. She doesn't have to pay for nothing. With Red Square, she's always good," he said.
Spragga Benz, who signed Slim to his RSQTHP label, decided to collaborate with the rising reggae act to jump-start his burgeoning career.
"The song has been getting rotation on few mainstream radio stations, but Spragga and myself have been performing it at the shows that we do. The response from the crowd has been very good," Slim said, while noting that the song was released on iTunes by DA-Mani Distribution.
While the promotion behind the song is about to intensify, Slim is busy in the studios working on an EP and new songs.
Born Ricardo Raffington, Slim is from Kingston. He entered the music industry as a show promoter and later evolved into production. He was involved in the promotion of events for more than 15 years in the US.
As a producer, his credits include Kevin Lyttle's Take a Ride, Every Breath by Spragga Benz and the Billboard chart-topping album From the Basement to the Big Leagues by Xyclone.
