Magnum King Symatic won't waste time after car crash
Dancehall artiste and this year's winner of the Magnum King and Queen of dancehall competition, Symatic, is now at home recovering from a motor vehicle accident which left him nursing minor injuries.
"It could have been much worse so right now I'm just giving thanks. Just some minor scrapes on my feet so nothing too serious, and me thankful for that," he said.
Symatic said that the accident has made him want to push harder for his career.
"The accident showed me just how short life can be and me nah waste no time. It's business as usual for me, back to work."
The entertainer was reportedly on his way to Mammee Bay in St Ann on Tuesday afternoon when the vehicle he was driving crashed. Symatic was travelling with a friend at the time. Neither of them were seriously injured. They were taken to the St Ann's Bay Hospital, where they were treated and released.
The deejay said that after the accident his mind flashed back to Suspense, the Magnum Queen who was involved in a motor vehicle accident, while participating in this year's competition. He says he will be making the most of all the opportunities he's given as he recognises that life can change drastically in an instance.
The Magnum King's hit, Nah Mind Nuh Man, from the competition is currently enjoying a good amount of airplay on the local airwaves.
