Q to release new album
Q Marsden, popularly known as Q, is gearing up to release his new album on Friday.
Simply titled Q R S T U V, the album is Q's first solo effort.
The 15-track album is predominantly hip-hop based, with a unique blend of old-school reggae. Q is no stranger to cross-over beats, as experimenting with mixing various genres is part of his sound.
"I just want to make good music for everyone to enjoy and also to create a vibe where it's just really chill and relaxing," he said.
This is his first full track album, and every track was written and produced by Q.
"I've had other projects in the past, but this album here is truly my first body of work that shows me," he said.
This album follows It's About You, his first EP, which was released in November 2016. That effort contained hits such as Mine, Motion, and his first single, Shawty.
No stranger to music, Q is the son of Steven 'Lenky' Marsden, the talented producer behind the famous 2002 Diwali Rhythm.
Born and raised in Florida, Q started recording songs with his father from as early as age seven.
Throughout his years, he went from learning to playing his mother's keyboard to getting his own equipment and making his own unique beats and writing his own lyrics.
The young singer is confident that Q R S T U V will be well received by his current and prospective fans.
The album will be available for purchase on various digital platforms via Zojak World Wide.
