Flydiewise Production to release new reggae project
Music producer Jarell Edwards is getting ready to release a one drop reggae project called the Pure Light rhythm.
The project, which features songs from Bushman (Conquer Dem), Prophecy (No Apologies), Nature Ellis (Youths of Today) and Jameik King (Struggles), is scheduled to be released before the end of November on the Flydiewise Production label.
"This is my first rhythm project, and I'm confident that it will do well on the international reggae music scene. Anyone who loves real reggae music will love it because the Pure Light rhythm is an authentic reggae rhythm and all the songs on it carry a very positive message," he said.
Edwards also added, "I believe in making good music, that's our main ambition at Flydiewise Production. Our label is young, but we want to make a lasting impact in the music business, so we always try our best to make music that the people will love."
Edwards is the in-house producer for the St Thomas-based Flydiewise label. The label is a partnership between himself and former Harbour View football player/businessman Garthfield Whyte.
Edwards was born and raised in St Thomas, where he grew up in the district of Trinityville. He is also a former member of the Jamaica Defence Force.
He launched his music production career in 2013 with the release of a song titled Jailhouse by Jah Currant.
His most successful production to date is Jameik King's breakout single titled One Step on the Victory Step rhythm which was released in 2016.
