Neteisha gets early birthday gift
Neteisha Wilson was nothing short of elated when she hit the jackpot in The STAR/Magnum Giveaway yesterday.
With only a week to go before her 33rd birthday, Wilson said she feels really good to be a winner.
"A di first time me ever win anything inna me life," she said.
"Me feel nice and happy. Me just a go chill and drink two Magnum with my friends on my birthday," she added.
Readers of The STAR get a chance to win a case of Magnum and a pair of headphones by answering some questions about the 'Tek Charge' tonic wine. The promotion appears in THE WEEKEND STAR and on the STAR's social media platforms.
The winner is randomly selected on social media, while the first person to call in with the correct answer to a question which appears in the newspaper wins.
Wilson correctly answered Professor Nuts, Skatta Burrell and Miss Kitty to the question: Name the three resident judges of Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall. Persons must call between the hours of 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to answer the question.
Wilson, a regular reader of The STAR, said that she was merely browsing through her favourite paper when she saw the opportunity to win.
"After me read the horoscope, me a browse through the rest a di paper and see it. Me just write the number pan me foot. Me call and me nuh get no answer and me see seh a 2:59. Me just watch the clock til it strike 3:00 and call back," she said laughing.
