Dancehall artiste Ovadose is making strides, with his latest release 'Dancehall Mixup'.
The single is a controversial commentary in which he highlights thought-provoking characteristics about his fellow industry players.
He mentions the familiar topic of Foota Hype and Bounty Killer’s feud as well as Tony Matterhorn’s wig wearing practices.
“Is like dem a mix up wid Shebada, dancehall need fi fix up,” he deejays.
Ovadose also toyed with Ishawna and Skatta Burrell’s love triangle, "Skatta squeeze har head and har legs dem... ."
The artiste recently returned from a promotional tour and has his eyes set on being the next big act in the island.
“I am bringing back real entertainment in dancehall when people used to go to stage show and leave feeling pleased. I have my own style and my own image and I also want to say to Popcaan, stop use mi hairstyle is me first start that,” he laughed.
Ovadose is gearing up to release a series or music videos in an attempt to improve his viability in coming months.
He is also calling for the industry to give more attention to artistes who are based outside of the Corporate Area.
“We are putting in the work and we work twice as hard. So we just want the industry to rally behind us because the cake is enough to share,” he said.
