"To all the mothers, to all the daughters, to all the sisters; you know you are so special, divine ...," are the opening words of reggae artiste Keznamdi's latest female empowerment single 'She's A Queen'.

The track, which was released on his Skyline Levels Vol. 1 EP in 2017 and produced by German heavyweight production duo Silly Walks Discotheque, is now being serviced to all media outlets worldwide and being promoted in support of International Women's Day and the general celebration and upliftment of women.

With recent increases in incidents of violence against women in Jamaica, Keznamdi believes that messages like this can help to further empower women and remind his fellow male counterparts of their duty. His chorus chants, "Treat her like a queen, don't take them for granted. Love is what every woman needs."

"As the only boy in my family, growing up with four sisters and a mother, I learnt very early how special women are and how they should be treated. I have also learnt firsthand of the struggle women face in their quest for equality and to be seen as more than just objects of pleasure. Women are divine. They are spiritual beings; the guardians of creation. So if we want to preserve and live life to the fullest, we have to take the best possible care of our women," said Keznamdi.

In support of this latest single, a lyric video created by noted animator and colourist Robbie Simmons, renowned for his work on X-Men, will be released today through major lifestyle blogs worldwide.

Keznamdi, who has recently been confirmed for this year's staging of Reggae Sumfest, is currently in-studio working on Skyline Levels Vol. 2 for release later this year.
