Magma to drop two new singles
As the first quarter of the year ends, Bermudian singjay Magma will be releasing two videos in the next couple of weeks.
"One of the videos is for a song called Musicmaker, a combination with Cedric Myton from the Congos, and a video called Lions Don't Fear, which has a scene with Dean Fraser in it. Lions Don't Fear is a rasta warrior song that is getting some buzz out there," he said.
Over the past month, Magma has been burning up the airwaves with a pair of new singles, Love Life and a remake of the Half Pint classic, Level Di Vibes, featuring new vocals by the reggae legend. The latter was officially released mid-February via iTunes and other downloadable music platforms on his own Moltenrock Productions label.
Last year, Magma scored well with a radio hit, a cover of Paul Simon's Diamonds On The Soles of Her Shoes. He co-produced the single with Kevon Brown and Donovan Joseph for his Moltenrock Productions.
"I have been recording a number of songs, and doing a lot of writing with my friend Danny English for my own label, Moulten Rock Productions, and I will be dropping an EP within the next two months; I am doing the mixing and mastering," he said.
Magma recently performed at the Negril Spring Break show at Long Bay Beach in Negril. He was called on to the stage by Danny English, and immediately sparked the crowd with a ganja tune, Sipping on a Sip. He followed that up with Toppa Toppa.
