Vegas plans Wakanda jam competition
Mr Vegas plans to launch the Wakanda Jam dance competition in a couple of weeks, inviting dancers to demonstrate their moves for a US$500 prize.
The veteran artiste last week released a video for Wakanda Jam. The video, which was premiered on Vevo, has been viewed more than 300,000 times since its release a week ago.
The playful and vibrant video, in part, focuses on the fun that was once depicted in dancehall when men and women danced together.
"The song is doing extremely well, which has made me happy because a lot of work was invested into it," Vegas said.
FOLLAH DA LEADAH TOUR
Meanwhile, Follah Da Leadah, which was produced by MV Music, is also getting an international buzz. Its success has reportedly led to Mr Vegas going on a month-long US and Canadian 'Follah Da Leadah' tour, which commenced on April 14.
The entertainer has merged his Follah Da Leadah tour with his 'Dancehall against Gun Violence' college tour, and has so far visited four colleges in the US and Canada.
"The feedback is great. I am blessed to be still putting out quality music after 20 years that brings so much joy to people from all over the world," said Mr Vegas.
