Boom Sundayz, a weekly party held on Grants Pen Avenue in St Andrew, continues to impress.

When THE STAR visited the venue last Sunday, ace discjock Boom Boom was spinning reggae, and retro dancehall tunes as the party steadily 'loaded'.

Now was time for business. Boom Boom, with his mixer Harry Hype on consoles, went into a segment that gave all the dancers a treat as Ding Dong and his Ravers crew busted out well-timed moves to songs such as 'Flairy', 'Fling', 'Cha Cha Boy', among other hot tunes.

Other performers such as Dancing Rebel, Raddy Rich and Rich Kid joined in to add to the party atmosphere.

Various nations were represented at the event, including, Japan, Spain, Austria, and Belgium all wanting to feel the energy of a dancehalll music in its rich and undiluted form.

"It really makes me feel good within myself, that it is back-to-school and I got this level of support from the people, to show how they love and appreciate me and they see the good I'm doing (in dancehall). As the saying goes do good and good will follow you," said Boom Boom.

Here are highlights from the event.
