Real V.I. thrills at GT Taylor show
Reggae/dancehall artiste Real V.I. was well received during the holiday season when he performed at GT Taylor's Christmas Extravaganza at Luana Sports Complex, Black River, St Elizabeth.
Real V.I. is the first artiste in a wheelchair to emerge and performed an amazing set.
The artiste graced the stage sometime after 9 p.m. to a booming crowd, where he performed hits such as Celebrate, Darkness to Light, and the crowd favourite, Dem Nuh Know.
The multitalented artiste, who went viral at a popular event in St Thomas after Jada Kingdom gave him a dance while performing, never dropped the energy for 2018 and ended it on a high.
When asked how he felt about the performance in Black River, he said, "I felt great. The reception from the crowd was wonderful and I feel good about my performance."
The event is known as one of the biggest events to be staged on Christmas night. The latest edition boasted a line-up of artistes such as Beenie Man, Sizzla, Etana and Wayne Marshall.
Real V.I. and his team have been working very hard to get him established as a mainstream act.
"[In] 2019, the team will be working very hard to get this done. We have a lot of good music and great projects to drop," he said.
