D Major shouts the ‘red alert’
International reggae/dancehall artiste D Major has been creating momentum on the music scene with his new song Red Alert, produced by Troyton Music.
The song captures the artiste expressing what his mother taught him while he has growing up.
Red Alert has been gaining traction in the streets of Jamaica and the Caribbean, Brooklyn, New York, Florida, and across the world.
"The song is doing great and has been very well received. Recently, I saw a kid singing the song word for word, which warmed my heart and showed me that the song is loved," shared D Major.
The artiste has plans to do a video for the single later this year.
"The feedback has been positive, that is very humbling and gratifying for me," said D Major.
Red Alert has received favourable airplay from various radio stations locally and across the Caribbean.
"I have been getting a lot of requests for dubs and jingles for this song, and I just want to say thanks to everyone who supports my music and helping me to bring my talent to a wider audience," he said.
D Major has been putting in a lot of work in the studio and is currently putting together an EP.
"I have been working overtime on the promotional aspect because this is the side that wasn't getting the attention. I have teamed up with Troyton Music and M.I.A. Production, and they are doing a superb job so far in getting the promotion out there," he said.
