Hezron fights for young girls on new track
Recording artiste Hezron has become increasingly vocal about the increase in the number of abuse and discrimination cases faced by adolescent girls in Jamaica.
Young Girl, produced by Zimma Entertainment, speaks to the everyday struggles of young girls.
With singles such as Poker Game and Caan Take The Pressure, Hezron has always been vocal about social issues plaguing Jamaica.
“My music is my way of expressing myself, and I believe it can help to create change because of the influence I have. The single Young Girl is straight-forward and very relatable” said Hezron.
Young Girl has been receiving rotations locally and internationally, as some disc jocks deem it as a possible hit song for the reggae artiste.
Hezron added “This song has so much meaning. When I sing it, it brings people to tears; I am very surprised by the number of women who come to me and say this song resonates with them.”
Hezron recently performed the single and others at a sold-out show at the Blue Lagoon in Florida, and is set to perform alongside Sanchez, Agent Sasco and Etana at Unifest in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, on May 19.
