Reggae artiste Zagga is now an independent artiste with a brand new management team. The entertainer, who was working with Chimney Records, says while he will continue work with the production house, he will now be guided by a different set of industry professionals.

Zagga explained that while his previous arrangement yielded good returns for his career, he is looking to take things to a new level and believes his new team can get him there. "This agreement is a good move for my career at this time as my new team, who is very experienced, will now undertake all administrative and professional responsibilities for my career. This will allow me more time to concentrate on my music and focus on the creative side of things," he said. "I am looking forward to what the partnership will bring and I'm excited about my future in music."

In a release sent to THE STAR, the entertainer's manager, Squidell, said the group will be ensuring the singer's skill sets are 'harnessed in the best way possible.'

Coming on the heels of the new partnership, Zagga has already allied with several accomplished production outlets, including DJ Frass Records and Unity Sound, the latter based in Japan and the US. Both labels are responsible for his first two singles of the year; the reggae-infused tracks, titled Holding On and Good Vibes Only. Both songs premiered earlier this year and will be included on his upcoming EP. That project, though still untitled, is slated for release later this year.

Zagga is best known for the songs Change , Never Give Up , My Destination and Free Up , featuring Tarrus Riley.
