Stanley Cruz asks ‘where he went wrong’
For Stanley Cruz, his undeniable passion for music came to life while living in Spanish Town in the late ‘80s.
Following in the footsteps of his late father, Winston Spence of the Melodians, Cruz is determined to live up to his legacy.
The artiste, who is currently promoting his single Where Did I Go Wrong? , is confident that this release will give him his much-awaited breakthrough. Cruz says that this project has been one of his most notable thus far.
“This song is relatable because a lot of people go through relationship issues. The song speaks of a woman cheating on her spouse, which leaves the man asking “Where did he go wrong? The feedback has been great. I am thankful for the continued support from my fans,” said Cruz.
A video for the track was recently shot in Hellshire, Portmore, by Everton Thorpe, and was released on YouTube for promotional purposes.
Cruz is also in studio working on his debut album, which is slated to be released next year.
“It (the album) will appeal to every kind of person you can think of. My fans will enjoy this compilation without a doubt. I also have a single, set to be released, that will be produced by Echo Minnott from France, another major project that I know will make an impact,” said Cruz.
