Jamaica is listed at number three on TripAdvisor traveler’s choice awards in the “World’s Best Islands” category and holds the number one spot in the Caribbean, THE STAR has learnt.
TripAdvisor offers advice from millions of travelers and a wide variety of travel choices and planning features with seamless links to booking tools that check hundreds of websites to find the best hotel prices.
TripAdvisor highlighted the world’s top islands based on the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings for hotels, restaurants and attractions.
The data was gathered over a one-year period from destinations worldwide.
According to www.tripadvisor.com, only if you sprinkle your island vacation with a dash of adventure, there is nothing better than stretching out like a cat in a warm patch of Jamaican sun.
Known fondly as “the land of wood and water,” Jamaica’s forests feature prime hiking and bird watching.
