WHO IS RESPONSIBLE? The Member of Parliament for the area is James Robertson, who has been serving since 2002.

WHAT IS GOING TO BE DONE? "That road is to be fixed in a contract that the minister sign last week in the east- west highway system."

"Whenever I go to Morant Bay to buy my groceries they (taxi drivers) don't want to carry mi up because they say Trinityville road is bad. They say that their bumpers gonna scratch because the road is too bad and they can't carry load on this road," Jadian Jolly said.

ABOUT TRINITYVILLE:

Trinityville is predominantly a farming community which sits halfway between the towns of Morant Bay on the coast and Cedar Valley in the hills. It is home to Robert Lightbourne High School and is in close proximity to cummunities such as Hillside, Somerset and Mt Lebanus.

DID YOU KNOW?

Some $246 million has been set aside in this year's budget for the Southern Coastal Highway improvement project which is to fix roads from Harvour View, through Morant Bay, to Port Antonio. None of the money in the budget will go to the fixing of road. It will pay for consultancy, surveying and valuation services.
