FLOW has announced another innovation to the mobile Internet market through the upgrade of its FLOW Lyf prepaid data plans and the introduction of three new residential postpaid mobile data bundle offerings.

In addition to access to free music and other benefits, it will now be offering access to the most popular social media applications including Snapchat, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, via a free social media data "bucket".

Dwight Williams, head of products at FLOW, said the company continues to conduct intensive research and analysis to determine the evolving needs and lifestyles of Jamaican mobile consumers.

"Our information suggests that by now, over 70 per cent of mobile phone users own a smartphone. This means that they need a network that will allow them to get the most out of their devices, while maximising the value for their dollar, and, for us, it is important to monitor these trends. We also remain committed to finding new ways to satisfy these emerging appetites and desires for value," Williams said.

Meanwhile, FLOW recently opened its newest flagship store at Soni's Plaza in Ocho Rios.

Hundreds flocked the store to access phone specials while being entertained by DJ MegaTron, the FLOW dancers and female entertainment dynamo DJ Naz.
