Police identify suspect in murder of Clarendon sisters
The police in Clarendon have indicated that they are making significant progress in apprehending the suspect wanted in connection with the murder of two sisters in the parish three weeks ago.
SSP Steve Brown says the police have identified the suspect and is now taking steps to arrest him.
The bodies of 22-year-old Felecia Bryan and her 18-year-old sister Janhell Howell a student of Vere Technical High, were found in bushes in the Raymonds Landlease settlement a day after they were reported missing.
According to the police, relatives got suspicious after they did not return home from a trip to a nearby shop the Saturday night.
Their mother later stumbled upon the body of the younger sibling and raised an alarm.
Residents searched the area where they found the other sister in nearby bushes.
SSP Brown says the police are treating the case as a domestic dispute.
