The 11th staging of the Goode Promotion All-breed Dog Show was a well-attended affair.

It was an event that saw scores of persons taking the trek to Caymanas Park in Portmore to be close to man's best friends.

There was an absence of the Best Dressed Mongrel category, but everything else went well, much to the delight of the patrons.

The Best in Show was won by Orbit, while the Classic was won by Haskel.

"I really enjoyed this show, as it was short and educational. I have never seen such well-trained dogs in action," said patron Wendy Brown.

This view was also shared by the promoter, Morris Goode, who said the show turned out how he wanted it to.

"We continue to educate persons about how helpful a dog can be. We also showed how best to have the animal be your friend," Goode said.

He said the show was growing in stature and patrons continued to look forward to the annual event.
