CISOCA charges businessman, teacher

A Corporate Area businessman and a physical education teacher of a prominent high school have been charged by detectives from the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) for various sexual offences.

The businessman is alleged to have raped a woman at her home on two separate occasions in November last year. He is booked to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court tomorrow.

The school teacher is accused of inappropriately interacting with a student in his office in late December 2015 and is to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Monday, February 1. He is facing a charge of sexual touching.

Investigations are continuing in both cases.
