Digicel Play surprises 10,000th customer

Digicel Play surprised its 10,000th customer, Lucet Montgomery, at home with free service for 90 days, a 55-inch LED LG smart TV and two Samsung Galaxy tablets, among other goodies.

Lucet thought that Digicel Play was simply installing her service, only to be surprised by John Suranyi, CEO for the Caribbean and Central America for Digicel Play and Delroy Anderson, Head of Commercial for Digicel Play, Jamaica, who both came bearing exciting gifts for the entire family.

"I'm totally speechless this morning and cannot thank Digicel Play enough," gushes Lucet. "Up to yesterday my TV wasn't working very well, so to be surprised with this brand new TV is just absolutely phenomenally perfect timing."

The 30-year old store owner also shared that access to fast and reliable Internet is critical to her as she frequently shops online and makes posts on social media. "I'm relieved and overjoyed that I can now enjoy an uninterrupted Internet experience," she said.

For Digicel Play's part, Suranyi said, "We thank Lucet and her family for being our 10,000th customer. We know that having one TV in a household of two children and three adults can be a bit tricky, but now the TV and tablets will allow them to use the multi-screen functionality of Digicel Play to watch their own programmes at the same time in the same room, so everyone is happy."
