PNP supporter hit in face with stone
A female supporter of the ruling People's National Party (PNP) remains hospitalised after she was injured when a motorcade travelling through Chapman in St Elizabeth was stoned on Thursday night.
She was reportedly hit in the face and had to be rushed to hospital.
The motorcade was heading to Junction for a PNP rally where Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller, president of the PNP, was the featured speaker.
This incident comes after Thursday's signing of the Political Code of Conduct by both political parties, which requires political parties and their candidates to, among other things, refrain from violence and intimidation.
