Taxi driver killed in Clarendon

The May Pen police are now investigating the murder of taxi driver, Phillip Myrie.

Myrie was shot and killed at 9:59 p.m. on Thursday in his community, Almond Terrace in Clarendon.

Residents reportedly heard gunshots around that time and called the police.

Checks by the police found the deceased slumped over the steering of his vehicle with several gunshot wounds.

Thirty-nine-year-old Myrie was taken to the May Pen Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

No arrests have been made for the murder.
