Motorists can expect delays along the main corridors of Hope Road, East King's House Road, and West King's House Road in St Andrew today, when Prime Minister-Designate Andrew Holness will be sworn in at King's House, beginning at 4 p.m.

Senior Superintendent of Police and Commanding Officer for the Traffic and Highway Division, Calvin Allen, said motorists will be affected between 2 and 8 p.m.

"There will be restrictions along the main gate area (at King's House), where only specially invited guests will be granted access. Another group will be granted access through the West King's House gate coming up from the vicinity of the Canadian High Commission. General parking will be facilitated along East King's House Road, where traffic officers will be in place to provide the necessary advice and guidance," he said.

Allen said he is encouraging motorists to avoid the areas mentioned to help with the traffic flow for the ceremony.
