JUTC to provide special Champs service
The State run Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) has advised the public that they will be providing transportation services at the National Stadium after the Grace ISSA Boys and Girls Championships on nights of Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19.
These efforts will concentrate the travelling public in the Kingston Metropolitan Transport Region (KMTR).
According to the JUTC, similar to last year, the Half Way Tree Transport Centre (HWTTC) will remain open to 12:00 midnight on Saturday the final day of Champs.
THE STAR understands that these extended opening hours of the HWTTC is to facilitate people who may need public transportation after attending post-Champs events in Half Way Tree and its environs.
The following destinations Portmore, Spanish Town, Downtown Kingston, Harbour View and Bull Bay will be covered in the post-Champs JUTC service include.
